(and we can't forget Book, the less than helpful kitty!)
I'm a grad student who tries to keep the tail end of her sanity by getting creative. I love giving cards to family and friends. I made cards as a child but got out of the habit. Then I started to realize I was spending $5 on a birthday card and I decided to start making my own. Sure, now I could easily spend that on a card and not notice but at least now they are one of a kind creations made by me! So I just hope they bring a smile to someone's face.
* DeSerres - they just put one in near my appartment last year so it is very dangerous. *Scrapbook Centrale - I LOVE this store and have to admit it is good it is on the other side of the city from me! *Michael's - when I'm back home it is guaranteed I will spend too much money here. *Paper Umbrella - small store back home that occasionally has some wonderful papers, like packages of scrap Japanese papers! *Walmart - I know it's awful, but sometimes they have good deals. *Zellers - there is a tiny little section, but occasionally there is a good find! *Dollarama - you can't do better than to walk into this store, spend $20, and have 20+ packages of stickers, embellishments, ribbon, etc. *Chapters - my source for card and scrapbooking magazines when I just can't help myself
